THE FRIENDS CHOIR

We are a group of young(?) men and women dedicated to serving the Lord through music. Our goal is to motivate the religious community to participate in church activities. The difference between us and other choirs: we do our stuff "with style"!

Now be a pal and serve Him!

Join us.

The Event

The Good Shepherd Cathedral's 2-day concert was a great success due to the full participation of all the choirs. It was a 2-hour event full of great music and hilarious videos. The income generated from the concert will be used to buy a new projector for the church.

The Friends Choir shared with the audience two songs. The first one was titled "Jazz Gloria". Two bongo drums set the tempo for the song (Cook's large bongo and Deyey's dual bongo). Being the unique and dynamic group, the Friends Choir also incorporated new steps conceptualized by none other than the group's resident dancer: VG.

The second song was the "crowd pleaser". It was during this performance that the audience was really captivated. They never expected the Friends Choir to use "improvised" musical instruments. The song was "Eto na Naman" popularized by Gary Valenciano.

I'll try to get a copy of the breakdown of instruments and their players. I couldn't remember who played what.

I would also upload some pictures soon.

Come back to this blog often for more updates.
